Winning Bids
The Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development hereby gives notice of the bids which have been selected in response to the 2008 Beaufort Sea/Mackenzie Delta Call for Bids. The call closed on June 2, 2008. Winning bidders having submitted work deposits representing 25% of their work proposal bid will be eligible to receive an exploration licence. In accordance with the requirements set out in the 2008 Beaufort Sea/Mackenzie Delta Call for Bids, the following bids have been selected:

Environmental Information
The maps below have been provided in order to raise awareness regarding relative environmental sensitivities to oil and gas activity in the southern Beaufort Sea region.
The information contained within the maps is being further developed and refined in consultation with resource management partners. Users should consult appropriate expert authorities to be fully informed on the state of knowledge on sensitivities.
The maps are being shared at this time to inform the call for bids process which is underway in the region and to elicit comments and input for future refinement.
